Like to warm up for your tennis matches with your favorite tunes? Timex has made it little easier — the new iControl watch lets you switch tracks and change the volume without laying a finger on your iPod.
How? The watch uses an RF transmitter to let you control all the basic functions of your iPod (or iPhone in airplane mode), which will let you keep it safely tucked away during your workout.
Designed to work with your body and coordinate with your iPod (play, pause, track forward/reverse and volume control), the iControl watch is sleek and comfortable to wear - with all the features you need for running around the tennis court or anywhere else.
It's actually pretty nifty once you get a few of the buttons down. In TIME modes, just press the labeled button of the function you desire. In CHRONO, TIMER and INTERVAL TIMER modes, buttons are shared betwen watch and iControl main functions. To operate the watch modes, press the labeled button; to operate you iPod, press and hold the labeled button.
In addition, the watch features, a 50-lap memory recall chronograph, a training log, 2 interval timers and 3 alarms a countdown timer and, of course, Indiglo backlighting.
It is offered in combinations of gray and black, as well as pink, blue, orange and green.
